I'm crossing my fingers that I can take delivery last week of Dec between XMas & New Years. My build week is 11/30 so basically first week of Dec for the production and 3 weeks for transit to the dealer. Think that is realistic.

I have the same build window, and my dealer AutoNation Tustin said delivery ETA is 12/21

With the review embargo set to December 15th, I would say no sooner than then. These journalists won't be agreeing to the expense of flying to Detroit for a press event and spending their day testing, just to get scooped by buyers. That exclusivity is part of why they set up events that way.
Invited journalists typically do not pay their own expenses for those kinds of trips.

I was going to select them as my dealer but during the initial rush, they were charging $5000 ADM but backed down a few days later after I changed to the Tuttle-Click dealership.

OKTB is not dependent on this event, but there may be a desire to hold this event after OKTB.
Could be, although they already held the first media event before OKTB. But maybe the embargo would move if OKTB moves again.

No need to move the embargo. Ford will want news out in mid-December either way.

Dealers don’t generally know anything.
Mine does, he told me so. Better yet, he told me he read it on the Internet so it must be true. I think best guess would be 3 weeks from when it leaves the Mexico factory. Could be better could be worse, closer to the first drop point the better. It's really going to vary here and comes down to location and how much closer you are to the first drop point. It's been said there will be a USA Ford quality inspection point and then off to the dealer. I forget exactly where, anyone have any info?

Posted earlier by Johnny: "I was at a Mach E Road Tour event in NJ today. I was asking about time from build to delivery. He didn't want to be pinned down, but he did give me some additional info. All cars will first be shipped to Kansas City, where they will be put on trains to go east or west. He said they were doing it this way to prevent additional delays."

Makes sense for those states not bordering Mexico.

That's quite interesting. Centrally located, and there are train routes fairly direct between there and Cuautitlan, like this one...

I heard rumor that train cars with West Coast vehicles might be dropped in El Paso for transport loading.

With a large share of vehicles heading to California, it doesn't make sense to haul them all the way to KC but I suppose anything is possible at this point.

Doesn't make sense to fly from DC to Puerto Rico via New Jersey but I've don't that and many other out-of-the-way routings by plane.

What is the anticipated first customer delivery date for the US? Has anyone (private party) received a car yet?
My production date is this week, week of 11/29, and the dealer has an ETA on my car of 12/21.

Same here. Guess I need to start cleaning out the garage to fit 2 cars now. My 12 yr old beat up car was a outdoor breed. No way in hell I would treat the new pony like that. It will have a nice warm garage to sleep in.
