I’ve used the mobile service a couple of times. Normal 10k maintenance once and can’t remember the other. I do know he did a fair number of updates once, and I had him test the 12v once. I highly recommend it. No extra charge.

Worked perfectly for me with the latest safety recall issued. Mobile service in my area showed up on my driveway right on time and took care of business at no cost or inconvenience for me.

Just used it yesterday for the recall software update. They were here about 45 minutes — all done and very convenient! Will definitely use the service again.

I;ve had Sarasota Ford mobile service several times for my F-450 and my Lightnings for warranty service. Tesla also has done Tire rotations in my driveway several times.

Sarasota Ford did a recall at my house. More recently they troubleshot the BlueTooth "Phone as a Key" not working on my Lightning. The PaaK issue was identified as a bad BT antenna in the driver door handle of my Lightning. They ordered a new door handle, had it paint matched and then came out the following week and installed it in my driveway. So convenient.

They also provide pick up service. They deliver a loaner and at the same time pick your truck up and take it back to the shop. After the service is completed they deliver your truck back to you and pick up the loaner. Seamless.

This dealership is very EV Savvy. Most of the sales reps and sale managers drive Lightnings.

It saves me a 40 minute drove each way to the store.

I had the Mobile Service at Paso Robles Ford come out last Thursday to do the two open recalls. Shaun Farmer was the tech and spent three hours updating all the modules since his van is equipped with StarLink. It was outstanding and very friendly service. My only complaint is the the updates moved the speedometer off to the right with no way to get it centered again. For me, the top view of the Mach-E provides zero useful information.

Yes it is!!

Ford mobile service truck that arrived to replace the driver door handle on our Lightning. The BlueTooth antenna in the handle failed and the door didn't unlock when the handle was touched.

We also use Tesla Mobile Service. Here is the CyberTruck mobile service vehicle that they sent to rotate the tires on our Tesla Model Y in our driveway.

They visited me today, to do the 25S65 recall. Maybe took 25 minutes. It could not have been more pain-free.

The tech that did mobile recalls on my F150 and MME kept complaining about how he was supposed to do a mobile service about 40 miles away that day and it was getting late. He said he was going to have to cancel that next stop and do it the next day. I didn't feel it would have been appropriate to ask him to check for more updates since he was having a bad day.
Maybe your dealer doesn't do that many mobile services.

The first time my mobile came out he basically did everything he could, several software updates. We chatted a bit and he said he didn’t get many calls, was glad to be out working. I believe they’ve gotten busier since then(@ a year and a half I think), but the service is still great. Depending on your dealer YMMV a lot.
