I have a a job 1, premium rwd, extended range battery mach e with 12,000 miles. It recently has been displaying all kind of errors, see photos.
Took it in to dealership they updated all the modules, fixed recall issue and said all is great. Worked for a day and then all the alerts recurred. Turning the car off and restating makes them go away for a while. but they return. It is back at the dealership and they claim to be working on it, but have no idea why it is occurring. They say it is such a new car, over a year now, and they are working with Ford engineers. But they still have no idea what is going on. They say give us a few more days. They say their technician has never seen anything like this. Any thoughts?

First thing I'd suspect is a low 12V battery. On many cars (not just the Mach-E), a low 12v battery will make computer modules flake out trigger all kinds of false error messages.

Looks like just possibly a network fault. Unless they catch it in the act while diagnosing, could be difficult to track down, but possible. The DTCs it sets should help them narrow down which network and possible locations

You would hope the dealership would think of this, but has not been mentioned .

One would hope.

Those are just possibilities. Some of the early Job 1 cars did have a 12V battery charging issue. I think early OTAs were supposed to fix that, but ya never know.

It may not be that, but you can monitor it yourself pretty easily. For 10 bucks, you can get one of those little cigarette lighter voltage meters from Amazon. I leave mine plugged in the center console full time, and just check the reading periodically. Should read anywhere from 12.3 to 15.3. If it drops below about 11, the modules may trigger false errors.

Hey there! I can look into your Mach-E’s error message concerns on my end if you’d like. Will you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership info?
