Heading to Vegas in a few weeks, and strongly considering taking the minivan instead of the MachE. Anyone done that trip recently, and how was the charger situation?

The only fast charger in Kingman is showing pretty bad reviews in PlugShare with 1-5 hour waits and only 2-3 functioning chargers. The only other fast charger there is listed as Rivian-only, and there's nothing anywhere else along the route, so it's not like I can just change my plans along the way.

I have a 2022 Select RWD, and will be with my father-in-law and two kids. He's already EV-skeptical, I would hate to cement that with a 5-hour wait to charge.

We just went to Laughlin a couple weeks ago. The Kingman charger only had 3 working chargers. We had to wait a couple minutes for one to free up on our way home. No wait on the way to Laughlin. Max speed was about 110 kw on the 2 different chargers we used. The chargers were working much better back in February when we went to Vegas.

Ended up taking the minivan, and I am mostly glad because the highway is in terrible condition as you approach the Nevada border. Wouldn’t want to put my MachE through that if I can avoid it.
