I have a GT with the GTPE Wheels that are lowered on Eibach springs. I think the wheels look too inward. If I got aftermarket wheels, I know I can get ones with a better offset that are more flush with the fenders. But I'm wondering if anyone has experience with wheel spacers. I was thinking maybe just 15mm would be enough. I saw an old post where someone went with 20mm and it looked like they poked out just a tad. I figure as long as you don't go crazy thick on a spacer, the safer they'll be and less wear and tear on bearings, etc. What are your thoughts?

I installed 10mm hubcentric spacers on mine. Nearly 10k miles on them and no issues or wobbles. 10mm is probably the limit without longer studs or an extension spacer.

Ahh ok so you think 15mm would not allow for a safe amount of studs to come through and attach?

Do you have pics of the 10's installed?

With a vehicle of this weight I would just caution against any spacer that does not extend a center pilot to support the vehicle weight. Wheel studs are not meant to support the weight of the vehicle. The center pilot is. Studs control rotation and keep the wheels clamped to the hub. ??

I’ve installed Bonnos 20mm spacers on a 2022 premium with stock 19 wheels and tires. For a flush mount I had to trim 3 threads and taper each lug bolt.

Nice! I am lowered so I was worried if I got too close to the inner fender I might make contact on a big bump so I went with 15mm on all 4. They're due to arrive today though.

I also installed 20mm Bonoss spacers on my '23 Premium. I'm currently running GT PE 20" wheels with 255/45 series rubber. There's a slight bit of poke with this setup.

Well I went with a set of 15mm. Running the OEM GTPE Wheels. Disappointed to discover the pocket behind the OEM wheels is not deep enough to allow space for the stock stud length.

I'd go with 20mm but Im lowered and feel like it might even be questionable if 15mm will clear the inside fender edge. I checked with a ruler and it looks like I have about a 1/2 inch of room.

Had the same issue when I temporarily mounted my stock 19" Premium wheels to the spacers. The lug studs dug into the softer metal of the wheels when I torqued them down because the pockets weren't quite deep enough. Luckily, the pockets on the back of the GT PE wheels are deeper and just clear the OE studs with 20mm spacers.

Unfortunately, with the 15mm spacers, you'll likely need to cut the studs down a bit.

I'm interested to hear what you end up doing.

I just had a conversation on the phone today with another member about this. Same thing as you, lowered, GTPE wheels and 15mm spacers won't work. He's going with 18mm to see if that will clear and if not, then 20mm. Should not be an issue with the OEM wheels and tires. They will be flush or have a slight poke but should be no issue on the road. When going over large bumps, etc, the wheels deflect in a bit and should clear the fender. If you are really worried about it then be in Unbridle mode when going over uneven surfaces keeping the car more firm. Again think it should be ok.

Do the regular flower GT’s clear a 15mm? I’m in the spacers or wheels camp now. But wheels means tires too. Not sure I’m feeling the need for many thousands to be spent this month on Casper.

There won’t be enough treads on the studs.
