Are all Ford TPMS sensors cross compatible?

Are all Ford TPMS sensors cross compatible? I know they have used different MHz over the years. If they are not all compatible, how many years past will work on a Mach E?

Obviously, this is research for finding used Ford wheel rims for winter use on the Mach E.

TPMS are cheap. You never know what condition the used TMPS are.

I would buy new ones. Go to Rock Auto. Programmed sensors start at $18. If you speak to the shop where you will have your wheels and tires installed to see what kind of sensors they use. At Discount Tire they use Schrader 33500 sensors (buy from Rock Auto Discount will install) and have them clone the factory sensor ID

Ford OEM sensors are made by Schrader

While we are talking TPMS and a set of winter wheels, I heard that ford has this down.
My last car I had to buy something to plug into the OBD to program where the new wheels are. I heard that you just switch the wheels and the car will sort out where they are without manually progamming?

Correct. As long as the TPMS sensors in the new wheels are compatible.
