The only implementations of 1.4 I know of are some prototype installments on Lightnings (Ford internal) and a limited number of early access Mach Es that received in via OTA before Ford stopped deploying it.

Yeah, I think BC1.4 was a beta-only release to a few lucky MMEs in the EAP, and on some test Lightnings. It occurred prior to the production version of BC1.3.

Ford has never explained whether the beta 1.4 was different or better than the production 1.3 that followed.

BC 1.4 is rolling out to Lightnings via OTA right now. So far only 2023s.

BC 1.5 is the as built version in 2025 Mach Es. I'll bet 1.4 stays a Lightning version and Mach Es go from 1.3 to 1.5.
