Pretty vague for existing vehicles, but, thank goodness they didn't promise it to pre-2025 vehicles! The "Soon" threads would be endless!
Guess you don’t have a 2021 model

I used to get excited about these things but over the past 3 years of owning my 2021 I have noticed myself starting to ignore any information about updates. I don't believe anything that Ford says anymore in regards to rolling out updates in the future to older vehicles because they have not for me in the last 34 months that I've had my car. I understand the idea is to get me to buy a 2025 so they can make more money. They could also make more money if they offered the updates as a future add on for a price like Tesla does. In the end all it does is make me not want to purchase another Ford. I spent $70,000 on my GT PE that has lost 65% of its value so far and at this point I could purchase a model 3 performance for less with better performance that already has lane changing features.

I wonder if they are using a faster CPU/compute platform for the infotainment. I notice some changes to the interface drive display that appears to be showing charging rate? Hopefully that comes to all previous models

Totally agree with this! Im not excited about my car anymore, im not looking forward to updates either. My wife and I decided we have to keep my current car until December 2025 at which point ill sell it for a Rivian R1s. I have no hopes of getting any updates until then.

At some point if you’re unhappy with a vehicle every couple years because a new shiny comes along….stop buying and at least start leasing.

There will always be a new shiny. Something new you won’t get is always just down the road.

No really I am a fan of common sense on this forum.

Should you be mad at ford for not supplying updates to your car while it is under warranty, I guess yes? That's what you should be mad about.

Should you be mad at Ford for not supplying updates to your car out of warranty (Which unfortunately the 2021's are going), I guess, but you don't seem to understand understand basic business.

Just get your priorities in the right place.

But what if the idiocy that is the center speedometer crowed actually took resources away from your 2021 year updates, how would you feel about that?
You got the wrong person here. I don’t want anything from Ford. I just think your behavior is shitty towards other member. Do better.

1) You felt it was worth that much when you bought it or you wouldn't have.

2) Tesla owners also experienced depreciation hell. Price cuts from Tesla have impacted the entire market, including your Mach-E.

3) A vehicle is not an investment.

Well ours came with BlueCruise 1.2 so I guess it was produced before 6/30/23. Came home on 6/24/24. Just got 1.3 recently within the last month. Software updates for this car seem to come in bunches.

@ChasingCoral your OP has descriptions of all the BC versions. It seems Ford is still referencing 1.4, but do you know if it has rolled out to any vehicles? AFAIK the recent OTAs only updated vehicles (2023s so far?) to 1.3, right? At least that's what the release notes say. But it seems like the speed adjustment on curves that I see now present in my 2023 came with 1.4. So I'm wondering which version I have after the BC OTA....

Either way, I'm really curious if they need additional sensors to make 1.5 possible, not so much from the point of "will my 2023 get it", but more from "will it be safe to use it in most real life situations".
