At least some of you have been able to schedule appointments. The plastic part above the center brake light was discolored. I mentioned it to the field engineers more for them to note, but they wanted to replace it. In doing so, they discovered you can't unless you also replace the center brake light, which was ordered mid October. So the brake light portion has a hole in it, so I don't let a power washer or car wash near it. (bucked time).

I also have the noise on turning, and have never received an OTA update.

To date calling them and stopping by the dealer, I do not have any date scheduled, and nobody returns my calls for information on a service appointment for all the updates, glass issue or noises.

I'm seriously thinking of trading the FE in on a used Model 3 they have. I don't like the style and the austere interior, but seriously??
So there are half shaft problems, software issues, 12V battery issues, brake skylight issues and rotor issues amongst others, I know Ford doesn’t make all their products and uses subcontractors but it leads one to believe they need to up their game in who they select to either work for them or subcontract to. Doesn’t matter that it’s a first year product. It shouldn’t have all these issues.

I sure hope the cars have improved as mine was made just last week And hope it better.

doesn’t bode well for customer satisfaction

My car is having the same noises on both right and left turns. The easiest way for me to hear it was to go in an empty lot somewhere and turn figure 8's. I am going to see if I can get into the dealership this week at least to diagnose and order parts for a later fix.

I wonder if this whole model year will end up being lemons... gonna be yet another recall I feel.

sounds like you need to find a new dealer for service

Most of the issues you mention aren’t present on newer builds

Hi there Alex! This doesn't sound like an experience we want you to have with your Mach-E. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd be happy to see how I can assist you with these concerns.

My car went back in to the shop this morning, hopefully the last trip for a long time. Based upon the videos I shared (posted in this thread), Ford recommended replacing both CV joints. I hope that solves it.

Also performing the windshield and roof recalls (neither of which I cared about, but unavoidable now) plus the customer satisfaction battery/charging expansion update (excited for this).

There is also yet another update my car is eligible for re PAAK so I guess we’ll see on that. The car is getting closer to awesome with each update, but it’s been a slow process and there is still some work to do.

Let me know how it goes. Going in for all of the exact same reasons as you on Friday. Thanks!

To be fair, while some have reported issues, not all MME's have all these issues.
Here on this forum we mostly hear whats bad and very little of whats good and its not just Mach-E forums, just look around at other manufacturers forums and see that the majority of posts are complaints.
I knew quite well that first year cars have their teething problems but still ordered one anyway only because its what I wanted. While I have not received my car as of yet I fully expect it to be as trouble free as the majority of my past Ford products. Now if that doesn't hold true then it will go the same path my Focus went with the defective "dual plate clutch" auto transmission. (Ford bought it back)

I hope your right. I bought a 2015 Porsche Macan , first year, but at the end of the year, there were many issues on that forum with that car also but not to the extent here. I hope I am not making a mistake. Biggest issue that I remember was a leaky hose for the rear windshield washer.p but I am sure there were more. Didn’t have to worry about clunky breaks and 12V battery dying

Last ford I owned was 30 years ago.

as it turns out my car has been almost flawless, transfer case issue and that was it.

I have the same issue with my Mach E, dealership told me they couldn't hear anything and sent me on my way, but the clunking is still happening. Started on the right side of the vehicle when I turned, now it's on the left as well. I have a first generation Mach E and this clunking noise started at around 2,000 miles and seems to be getting worse. Have another appt. with the dealer, but I am getting very discouraged with this car.

Ford directly reached out to me for more information. Hopefully I hear something about a resolution soon.

Nice ?
I think it's just a matter of time before this turns into a TSB at least, with a known good solution. Right know techs all over are trying various fixes, ordering a multitude of parts. Will be good to get this nailed down soon.

I received a call from Ford Electric Vehicle department. The very nice rep contacted the dealer about my part issue and others including the noise on turning. Turns out the dealership has had the part since October 28. Would have been nice to let me know.

Anyway, I think Ford is trying to get this right. It's all about users being the beta testers that have to pay big bucks to buy the product to test.
