Very interesting, thanks guys! I'm 100% Carplay as well. Maybe I'll play around with the no-center-channel config for a little while to see how it performs. Seems like a 10-minute job to open up that cover and disconnect the speaker.

Took me 7 minutes! 2 of those minutes required to locate the T20 socket ;)

So far the sound seems totally fine (in stereo sound mode). In fact, it's kind of strange how the other dash speakers create the illusion that there's still sound coming out of that center channel. Only tested music and audiobook so far. Anyway, thanks for the idea! That center channel crackle was getting bad.
