Does anyone find that the GT bolstered seats are not as comfortable on long drives? My ICE Gt bolstered seats cause me leg pain anything more than 90 minutes and I heard the MME GT bolstering is pretty aggressive too. I'm hoping the MME Premium is more comfortable. I'm looking to buy a 2022 used MME Pre soon but giving up the GT feel is concerning me, but I need more comfort.

I can’t comment on the GT seats, but the GT-PE seats are very comfy on a long drive. The steering wheel angle off of vertical, not so much. ?‍♂?

The bolsters on the GT-PE are somewhat aggressive, but not so much that I notice getting in and out. ??

I had a Select, seats were comfortable, but, and not entirely certain this was just me getting older or what, but I started developing a left lateral leg pain that I attributed to driving this car a lot. Since I got a GTPE, it hasn’t been as bad.

That’s because you are a poodle, bolstering should be just right for you!

My Harley killed my lower back, put on mid controls and got better but still had to use Aleve after a few longer days in the saddle. Stopped riding all together and no pain since.

Also drove a E350 Van for about a decade, damn thing made you sit twisted due to the motor hump. Loathed that thing.

Back pain sucks, Hope you get your Select sorted.

Hi BigMach-E, that's funny because I get right leg lateral pain driving my ICE GT for more than 90 minutes... I attribute it to the bolstering as I don't experience that with my wife's Volvo XC60.

It's good to hear the GT isn't as bad, I have not driven one yet and hope to do so in the next few weeks.
Thanks

I have a '22 Select with C/T and have no problems. The heat helps.
I have a '22 Select with C/T and no problems. I just picked up a Ford Escape PHEV with the Premium package and LOVE the adjustable lumbar support. The range on the adjustment is better than cars I've had in the past.

I'm still shocked that a car that costs this much does not have a tilting seat base. Perhaps there wasn't room above the battery? Some support under the front of my legs would be nice.

Lol I had finally dialed my seat in where I was getting back and neck pain. Unfortunately had to take it to the dealership and whoever got in my car must of been huge cause it’s completely off. Back to the back and neck pain trying to figure my settings again haha. The only car I have this much problems woth

Glad you found a more comfortable seat position!
If you think it may help, seat heaters installed after market have run us less than $200/seat. Thinking about putting them in the back seat since I find the car to feel cool in the winter months.
I see your $200 and lower it $160
I run these in my Can-AM. They get more than hot enough when I'm out riding in 50 degrees (no windows, no cab, not even a windshield) and are absolutely going in my car next fall.

I'll do a write up on them then.

Thanks Erik! I still haven't had them put in, but I may consider the $160 "installation" charges worth it depending on further information :). Not sure I could bring myself to take apart a seat to install considering I can't put a hole in drywall to hang decorations! Looking forward to hearing more!

There’s zipper on the upper parts of the back seats. I’m going to hope there are some on the bottom. If so it’s just finding a power wire that comes on with the car in remote start. My wife or kid will be so happy once they go in.

Once you get your seat settings dialed in again, depress and hold the #1 preset on the door. This will save your setting.

I did both the #1 and #3. Just in case. ??
