Hi,

I am looking to purchase a Mach E Premium ER. Came across these 2 models on a dealer website. They are exactly the same trims with slightly different packages. What I am struggling to figure out is why is their base MSRP so much different? 50,995 vs 46,995 USD. From what I can tell, is one of them is maybe 2023 and other is 2023.5 model year from the 10.5 kw vs 11 kw onboard charger and 115 kw vs 150 kw DCFC rate. But that doesn't explain the price difference.

Here are the window stickers for the 2 Mach Es I am interested in

Thanks

At a quick glance Blue cruise for 3 years on the 2023 and the night pony package vs Blue cruise 90 day trial for the 2023.5 plus a different battery.

At a quick glance…

That’s what I see as well. OP - basically stare and compare. There are about $3k difference just from those options alone. At first glance…

I still don't see the 3 yr blue-cruise. The cheaper one has "CNCTD BLT-IN NAV(3-YR INC)" which I believe is built-in navigation. Correct me if I am wrong.
Ford is currently selling 3 Yr blue-cruise for $2100 and the price differential is ~4k for these 2 models.

I'm not an expert on MME's at all. That being said, I have a 2023 Premium and it comes with a 3 year BC 1.2 trial. The 2023.5 come with a 90 day 1.3 trial of BC.

The 1.2 and 1.3 are kinda a moot point because BC 1.4 is rolling out.

The subscription for BC is $800 a year at this point in time unless you have a early model. Stupid price in my opinion!

I also don't know what the Night Pony package entails.

Either way whichever one you buy will be fun and exciting...

Yeah you are right. Ford is selling it for $800/yr or $2100 for 3 yrs.

The nite pony package includes "'23 Mach-E Nite Pony packages include black front and rear bumpers and lower cladding, with the Premium trim level wearing 19-inch rims and the GT Performance wearing 20s. It has also been confirmed that the regular Mustang Nite Pony has a black-painted roof and 19-inch wheels."

I was pretty sold on Mach E but then I saw the Donna Dickson video with Munro and the takeaway for me from that video was Ford basically wanted to get some out of the door first and they kinda bootstrapped the Mach E.

This MSRP change between the 2 has been well documented. The older has three years of BC and comes with the charging cord. The 23.5 is only 90 days BC and they charge you for the cord. battery tech might be different as well depending on the range. The older most likely has a rebate authorized to further incentivize it. The Change in MSRP mid year has created a total SH!T show for the dealers to try to explain and for the consumers to judge price online. Even more confusing, they announced the MSRP change in a big press release in early 2023 and then those cars didn't even arrive on lots until July/August. Just like they announce Blue Cruise 1.4 in a big press release and then still have not released it. Just like They announced Telsa compatibility charging in a big press release and then.... I really do love our Mach E. But Ford is really making it hard for the dealers to explain these things. Why they are announced but not yet available.

This is correct.

2023 (Job 1) vs 2023.5 (Job 2).

I waited for my 2023 Job 1 for 14 months, 2 model changes, color change, VIN change...

All for the '22 pricing = well worth the wait.
