Is that mean at the end of the trip I do have 260 mile range?

It means that you have an estimated starting range of 260 miles.

GOM is “guess o meter”. For BEVs estimating your range is complicated. This is your vehicles’ guess at how far you can go with a 87% battery SOC (state of charge).

I think they put the icon there to differentiate between distance to destination and estimated distance to empty. If the icon wasn't there then some might think the GOM figure is related to the programmed destination somehow?

Seems a little unnecessary to me but maybe there was some feedback in testing?

I wish the display would show distance to next waypoint as well as distance to final destination. Maybe something for the wish list for OTAs?

yes. and to add to what @hybrid2bev said, the estimated range is not overly accurate which is why it is referred to as a "guess-o-meter" or GOM for short. It often underestimates how far the car can go with how much energy is in the battery. Lots of newbies panic or think their car is broken when this doesn't show exactly the range of the car they have when the battery is charged to 100%.
