How do I prepare for leaving car while on vacation for 6 weeks
We left ours for 2 months @ 50 percent. It was kept in an a/c garage at about 80 degrees (we live in Arizona). After a couple of weeks you'll get a notification that your car has gone into "sleep" mode. When we returned the HVB was still at 50%--we started it to "wake it up, " then turned it off and charged it to 85% and everything was fine.

The better question is, "What do you do for a living or are you retired, that you can go on Vaca for 6 weeks"? Just know, I'm not jealous in anyway shape or form. It's ok I've been "plugging along" for 25 years and never had more than 2 weeks/year................any way, I digress.......I don't know how to help you as I have never left for 6 weeks :(.... ? ?
Could just be a leave of absence or something maybe... unpaid even?

My company kind of has a graduated vacation schedule. Like you start with 1 or 2 weeks and start building more through years of service. And every 5 yr anniversary gives you a bonus 2 weeks of vacation for that particular year. I'm at 17 years this year and my base is now 4 weeks every year and my next anniversary year will give me 6 weeks.

I'm strickly production based. "I eat what I kill" as the saying goes. If I took 6 weeks in a row off....My income would be devistated!!! Bad life choices i guess. Enjoy your time off.

The older I get the more I think the europeans may be right with their work life balance. One kid pending graduate school and another in college....No slowing down right now!!!
