Behind on Updates

I have an MME GT 2022. I am on version 22228 rev 539. The dealer tells me that they put the machine in for an update and that there is the most recent thing they have for the car. Why is it so far behind and not receiving more updates? What can be done if anything?

The 21s and 22s are at or near the end of their robust updating period. This doesn’t mean they won’t get any updates moving forward, just that they’ll be far fewer.

My 2021 last had a non recall update in May or June of last year. Its sync version is a very late 2024 build. There’s nothing newer sync-wise available in FDRS as of a month or two ago.

The newer IPC displays (25 and 26) will not, in all likelihood, be available to earlier cars due to hardware limitations.

If you’re genuinely concerned, drop a note in the FDRS thread and see what one of the FDRS people have to say.

Sync updates have been put on hold for reasons unknown for some models. Hopefully we might be close to the end of that hold. Recent discussion linked below.

I just received IPC-25.7.46 on my 5yr 2021 premium. I had not received an update since last June. So I guess they are still sending out some updates on a 2021.
