As someone who approves messages that get sent to thousands of customers, I feel the pain every time I see this. Not authorized to change the message, but required to engage on SOCIAL media. I appreciate the engagement anyway!

I hope we get this, it would make a huge difference to me. The sound system, though decent, has been very disappointing to me.

Yes in the loaner car I was very surprised how well implemented this DSP is. Nice work by B&O and it would be great for Ford to push it out to all cars with the B&O sound system (assuming the system has the necessary DSP chips, of course. This may be why we with earlier vehicles may not see it, I don't know.)

One of the BluePilot developers with a MachE is who discovered it. It should work for anyone with B&O here.

I read that, but will the 21-23 owners be able to make the changes you mentioned and have it work for them? Any dependencies on software levels for the APIM and/or DSP that you know of?

Ahh, I understand your question. I believe so, I'm pretty sure it was tested on a 2023. When mine gets back from the body shop I will test it personally.

I flipped F501 to F511 in my 2023 and no luck. Still shows the standard bass/mid/trebel EQ

What about the change to the APIM to get the Beosonic menu to pop up?

Oh yeah, skipped that part lol. It's working now, and I can hear a difference.

Only downside is I can't switch to "Surround" for Sound Mode now (lower down in sound settings). It keeps flipping back to "Stereo"

EDIT: I can pick "Surround" if I flip to "Equalizer" instead of "Beosonic" so nothing lost with this change.

Not quite there then, yet. In my 2024 there is no issue with having Surrount enabled while utlizing Beosonic.

Which says "A double-tap on the white marker activates surround sound mode."

Sure enough, a double-tap added extra circles around the marker and flipped to "Surround"
