Take the remote off the visor and put it in the glove, put in cup holder…or put the remote in your gear bag…or leave the remote at home and force yourself to get out of the car…

Not to be Johnny raincloud, but that looks like a black painted Select roof (ie metallic).

A normal roof vs other mounting locations. If you look up an F-150 you get two options:

I took the pic out a FB group in Quebec. The rack is not touching the roof whatsoever; not sure why a metal or pano roof would make a difference. The car on the picture has the panoramic roof.

Yeah, looks like the pano roof to me. I was just confused about the wording in their description but I think ChasingCoral explained it.

Check out the Thule website, they have 5 or 6 bike rack options. I will be getting one and a kayak rack as well.

Even better. I received confirmation from Thule. Thule says it is a valid solution for Mach Es with the panoramic glass roof!

Hello Mark,

Sorry for the delay, we still have no update for a fit for this vehicle

After extensive testing by our engineers, this car is deemed a no fit due to the fact that there is no safe place to attach the rack to the roofline of the vehicle.

I’m thrilled to see that Thule found a way to make a rack for the Mustang Mach
E, as your website now shows solutions for your new Eco series bars.
In entering the car information, your website uses the term “normal roof”.

Most Mustang Mach Es come with a panoramic glass roof. Does “normal roof” imply
it is only for those cars with a solid metal roof or does this solution work
for cars with a panoramic glass roof?

Many people on the Mach E Forum and other online groups are eager to have a
roof rack solution!

Yes, it's fine. The clamps will not interfere with the sunroof, or there would have been a special note on the fit guide.

While Thule and Yakima have a bunch of bike rack options that would fit ”aero” bars like these, I’m quite partial to RockyMounts racks, and over time have upgraded all my roofracks to using them. Particularly convenient for mountain bikes (and now some gravel bikes) with Boost front forks.
