Bing-Bong Changed

The "Bing-Bong" noise (technical term) when you get close to an object, or dont move the wheel when in lane assist, or for other warnings, changed overnight. It still Bing-Bongs properly, but the sound is completely different. Anyone experience this ?

If you recently got an update, let it settle for a day or two.

If not, if the 12v gets low that can happen.

It can happen occasionally if the ACM doesn’t wake up in time

Other than what was mentioned earlier, it could also be a dying center speaker, but my bet is on something freaky in the Audio module. If letting the car rest and turning it back on doesn’t help, try disconnecting the 12V negative cable (after waiting at least 12 minutes from when you close the last door of the car) for 10 or more minutes then reconnect it.

I usually know when Stangy’s had an update; things which went bong to coin a technical term would then bing, what binged now bongs, what bing-bonged now beeps etc etc.

I call it STS - shopping trolley syndrome - does what it likes, goes where it wants when it wants and how it likes

As I've gotten older my bing-bong has changed quite a bit. It happened slowly, from a crisp dinga-ding-dang to more of a slow bong-bong. It happens to all men, I hear.

But in the car? No changes for me.
