Blue Cruise Subscription Older Mach E

I still find it practically useless except for no traffic long stretches on I 70 at 3 am. The performance will have to improve dramatically before I’d consider any price point.

I have a 2021 job 1 MME. My 3 year $600 BCHF subscription expires at the end of this year. I have not received any software updates in a year. I'm of the belief that Ford has scaled back their EV software team so much that they're just treading water.

I bought the MME instead of a Tesla because it was a car with technology, while Tesla is technology first. For that reason the MME was a good transition car. I'm ready for better technology and, thus, my next car will be a Tesla.

You would be guessing wrong. Bluecruise as a subscription service was well known in 2021. What wasn't known was the pricing.

Older Chevy Bolts have a version of super cruise with less features, and they pay less for it. The models with older BC like our 21s should also have a cheaper option.

Ford will lower the price, they are seeing exactly how many are paying for it after our free trials end, shareholders want to see more people using it, so price will come down. We just have to hold the line and wait for our price point.

Some members of this forum have a Ford Lighting which also has Blue Cruise but is it 1.5 opposed to 1.3 on the older Mach E's. Maybe they can detail their experiences.

Fine print is key. 2023 job1 GTPE owners get BC free of charge a little extra longer than most. Ford was even kind enough to under line the INCLUDED AT NO EXTRA CHARGE for me.

I don't personally feel that Bluecriuse is worth the money. My 2024 GT Mach-E has lane keeping and radar cruise control. Those two features handle as much of the driving as I want a vehicle to do. I doubt that I would ever be comfortable driving in a car without my hands on the wheel and my attention on the road.

Personally, I use BC in heavy traffic and almost anytime I’m on the highway. It’s been flawless for me. I really appreciate it. Though, I probably won’t subscribe when it expires in 2027. Not enough use for the cost.

It specifically makes you pay attention or it disconnects (that’s the eye watching module on the top of the steering column). Look away too often and it disconnects BC. I use it a few times a week in traffic and it’s awesome!

2023 Premium - I got the same extension. Lots got it, there are many discussions on this forum.
