So I've had it for less then a week but put it to use on trips back and forth from Huntsville, AL to Milton, GA.

1. Handsfree is nice but I've found that having my left leg bent and holding the wheel is pretty much the same before BlueCruise. Note: My leg comment above was how I was "handsfree" before BlueCruise and still works when BlueCruise is active and not handsfree. I bit of resistance on the wheel is what the SW seems to be looking for to determine you have "Hands on the wheel"

2. The lane position is never racking, on I-75 with a semi next to my right side the MME was hugging the line and the truck was too close for comfort, really need some sort of tweak to adjust this by bumping the car position.

3. The watch road is annoying if you cross your arm in front of the IR bar or take a drink too long and block line of sight to your eyes. I had this issue on the 2 lane roads when it was not in true hands free driving so I was holding the wheel. The eye watch should be turned off when not in handsfree mode I think.

4. It seems to 'search left and right a lot, at 75 mph this is more noticeable to me. More damping and less adjustments constantly would be nice improvement.

I'm not sure about paying for this right now, so time will see. Any other thoughts?

Poll is faulty because it doesn't take into account people who don't have BC, or don't have BC roads, being able to reply.

You might be doing "Handsfree" wrong. I am able to relax both arms and legs during Handfree operation.

Agreed. Seems like the side blindspot detectors could sense a vehicle is close to the lane border, and bias a little to the other side. Most people due this intuitively when a truck is close on one side.

I found this annoying too, but because the car decides when Handsfree comes on and off, I suppose it has to keep monitoring. I solved this by not using cruise at all if I am going to cross my arm in front of the sensor.

I think this is why handsfree doesn't engage above 81 mph. Maybe the system is not able to process steering adjustments at higher speeds?

Despite all the improvements possible to make BlueCruise better, I voted to keep my subscription after the trial ends. Why? After using BlueCruise for a few months, I drove an older car on a 90 minute highway drive home recently. I found it a little exhausting to keep my hands constantly on the wheel and manage the distance to the car in front of me. For road trips, the BlueCruise is worth it to me.

My leg comment was that was how I had handsfree before Blue Cruise, sorry for the confusion.

The applicable roads info I remember from awhile ago, at that time it looked like no roads in Huntsville would be on it it but I found that our parkway and interstate bypass is handsfree and even some of 72 going east. Seems it is using something else to figure out. I-75 had it in GA and a few other roads I was on.

The thing about handsfree BC is that it's actually legal, as in, using the system as designed. There's a bit more feeling of safety for me there, because tricking the system sort of feels like playing with fire - not that I've never broken rules before ?. I'm not sure if I value that feeling of security at $200/year, but I intend to wait until my free year is up before I make a decision because who knows if Ford will come up with more features for the money.

In the meantime, I'll enjoy being able to eat a sandwich while cruising down the highway without worrying about constantly touch the wheel with my leg or greasy hands :)

One of the benefits of EVs is a significantly reduced chance of eating while driving - that's what frequent and long charging stops for :p
