Borla Active Performance Sound for Mach-E

I would be interested if I could make it sound like the Millennium Falcon or a Tie Fighter - that would actually be fun to play with for awhile. I have another vehicle that has a V8 sound because, well because it has a V8 in it!

This was my immediate thought too. People over here crying about this, um now we can sound like we are pod racing. Borla could make a killing releasing sci-fi sound packages alone.

Saw this at the SEMA show, it sounds fairly good in person. Borla says it will eventually support non-ICE sounds IE Jetsons car sounds, fart sounds ECT. It also will retail for $1500

Good. I'm not even remotely interested in my EV mustang sounding like a V8 mustang. I'll buy a V8 Mustang if I want that. Give me that Mach-E 1400 sound for the days when I want to hoon around.

I just watched a portion of the latest episode of All Girls Garage - Mach E vs Mustang and the girls installed Borla's new Active Performance Sound for Electric Vehicles underneath the Mach-E. The rep on the show said that there will be up to 1000 sounds available and users will be able to customize their sound.

The girls decided to make the Mach-E sound like a an ICE Mustang which I thought was super cringy but whatever. ?‍ I'd love to see a wide variety EV performance sounds available instead of trying to mimic EVs sounding like they're powered by gas.

I'm thrilled to see the aftermarket make something like this but I'm sure that this will probably be a polarizing mod.

It looks like this system will be available for purchase sometime this fall.

There's a huge speaker that goes underneath the Mach-E right where an exhaust tip would normally be.

Just now watching the episode, not because of the Borla system which I think is stupid (just MY opinion) but my wife just pointed out that they put the lift pads on the BATTERY RAILS! cudos to my wife for noticing that!
