I want get the word out about BSKT Designs and there shady ways.After spending over 10k with them I want @everyone to know to stay away from them, they don’t care about their customers and blame the customers for their issues.

I created the group BSKT Designs Complaints and Issues group on facebook to warn people since they blocked me. But if you go to the group you will see pictures of conversations I’ve had.

I also will tell people the good companies like EV Vida which has had great customer service.

I've had extremely slow response times from them and I'm not super happy about that, but I'm patient and have what I ordered along with spares. I have to enquire about this taxes/tariffs thing. Was the unexpected bill about the tariffs imposed by the US government that is meant to be paid by importers, in this case you? Because it looks like you reported them to someone for fraud for that and as Jose said, that's quite screwed him over.

@r0bb1ed I'd like to hear more about this hidden tax/tarrif if you're willing to share. Was it the US government one or one imposed by BSKT?

It was imposed when it hit the US, I guess my frustration is no heads up communication that I would have to pay it, I only found out when I tracked the package it told me it needed paid before it could be delivered on top of the poor communication. If I would have been told ahead of time I would have known and to your point above I disputed the PayPal charge because I had not gotten a couple parts but that was also closed when the parts showed up finally.

again I BSKT parts have been good, the whole point is the hopes customer service would improve.

Well there's only one guy in the world you can blame for the cluster munch that is the US tariff mess, him and his enablers. There's no way Bruce or Miguel can be held responsible for that and they can't keep informing people of their own country's ever changing rules.

I also had very long wait times, and times when things were to be posted "tomorrow' and then I got the tracking number weeks later showing it had only just been done.

Just had a dealing with BSKT.
ordered a front light up pony early December they said it was shipped with track number. Track number didn’t work he told me that customs returned it. He would now send me the ultimate version and ship it soon. Month later date 25 Jan I ask where it is he said I knew when ordering that takes time. Countdown clock apppers show days remaining time to be shipped then a new ship date appears being 23 February so I ask what is going on. You took my money back early December. I said this smells of a scam. Boom refund from them and we start a conversion he say I know of time to make and send. I said you need to communicate with your customers. Stay clear of these clowns they take your money and you wait months with out communication and you have to ask where it is.

They are not a scam! I was one of there biggest supporters but have since moved on. Had no real issues with them. I just believe they over promise. They should have a product fully developed and tested before they promote and actually sell to customers. For the most part customers seem to be the testers. If I had to give them advice I would suggest that they have a product more developed and tested before they promote it to sell. And definitely don’t sell until you have a definite ship date. Not a projected ship date or anticipated ship date. Yes problems arise but that being said over promising on a ship date or product is a bad practice for a company. Especially when you have a history of doing it. Shoot for the stars in your products, but it’s better to over perform in expectations or goals. Rather than underperform in them and leave customers upset and wondering what’s going on. Again there products are innovative and groundbreaking for the Mach e community in many ways. They are 100% not trying to scam anyone! But the customer service needs to improve drastically.​

I said it seemed like a scam.
after reading all of the complaints regarding BSKT I’m now glad they have refunded me. Seems like you need to up your game!

I completely agree with you Jeff about not selling a product to customers before it is ready to ship.

Having bought MANY products from them for all 3 of my Mach-E's over the last 4+ years I know how they operate and I'm very patient as I have ALWAYS received what I have ordered. Currently I have another custom steering wheel, air bag cover and grill on order with them. I have no issues waiting as I know it can take time and I'm not in a hurry.

Some people are impatient and don't want to wait or be told there are delays and may look at this as a scam. As you said, BSKT is not trying to scam anyone and their customer service does need to improve. I've been extremely happy with all of the products I have purchased over the years especially since several of them are custom, one of a kind items that no one else would manufacture for me.

There's a @Brucelan and a @Brucelee. I would think definitely two different people.

Kind of weird for BSKT Bruce to talk about himself in the 3rd person...

In any case, I've seen positive feedback and negative feedback about BSKT and I still went ahead with the pre-order for the front lit ulimate pony.

The way I see it is that:

1. Many people with positive experiences rarely post about it.
2. Those with complaints are usually the most vocal (not a bad thing, and something definitely worth considering).
3. I'm paying by credit card so if anything does happen, I'm protected.
4. Bruce is in China and Miguel is in Portugal so there's very likely a language barrier with communication, and yes I've seen the messages posted online.
5. Enough respected members here have vouched for BSKT that I feel comfortable with purchasing from them.

It's unfortunate that you had a bad experience with them. Your feedback is definitely appreciated though, and all that we as customers can do is take the feedback and try to make an informed purchase.
