It's exactly what I would expect from a Toyota BEV....boring/mediocre. I actually don't mind the shape, but the blacked out fenders are ridiculous.

The fact that they installed leg heaters tells you the demo they're going after with this.

Toyota's problem is that they think they're still in the last part of the last century when people wanted big chunks of plastic on their cars and didn't think EVs were viable.

I am so disappointed in Toyota. I bought the first gen Prius, the second gen Prius, and kept hoping and waiting and hoping and waiting for an EV from them... They threw all their development and lobbying against EVs and into hydrogen fuel cells, and that was it, they lost the innovation race.

They won't catch up for at least another 5-10 years. It's too bad, too because we could really use the largest manufacturer in the world innovating on EVs.

It’s unfortunate how they made it look, I think the current generation RAV4 and RAV4 Prime look excellent, they should have emulated that.
