I remember someone else having a similar issue but can’t find the post.

I was out of state for a week, was unexpected so I left the car unplugged as it was already at 86%. Took a drive in it last night, all was well, and I plugged it in.

Tonight I went to go out for dinner and my car was chiming when getting in. Did not remember that t doing that but shook it off. When I got to the restaurant and opened my door I got the same alert.

I checked my headlight switch and it was not illuminated at all. I moved the switch and it illuminated. I spun it around to off then set it back to auto. Opened the door, still getting the chime. Spun it to off and then auto WITH the door opened and it stopped the chime.

Anyone else experiencing this… I’ve never even touched that knob since I’ve owned the car..

Try a lock, then unlock using PaaK. Was it chiming before you opened the door to get in?

The selector was not illuminated at all, I have no idea what was selected, but assume it was auto.

I had gotten out and locked the car via the door pad. I thought it normally turned the lights off right after, but the lights where still on, although I did not wait too long.

Once I spun the knob it did illuminate to show what I had selected. Only way to get the chime to shut up was to leave the door opened, turn off the headlights then spin it back to auto.

I had one issue with the headlamp warning. I know @breeves002 did also. There were several other reports. I don't know that anyone got it resolved other that turning it off then back to auto.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. I rotated the dial until something lit up and then put it back to Auto. Seemed normal again after that.

Weird though. I wonder how many of us had that issue recently? Not likely a hardware glitch. I am guessing software...

Every single time this comes up (many times now!) the answer is one of two things: user error, or ghosts.

I'm going for ghosts on this one, especially since this has happened to my vehicle, too. ?

... cue @Gimme_my_MME's "ghosts" search alarm bells ?

The headlight switch issue happened in my FE and my GT, so I think it’s software related. Either BCM wake up issue of the headlight switch or bad software on the switch itself. It’s a LIN module so not sure if it can be updated or not. BCM update hopefully could fix it though.

Recently my door chimes have stayed on continuously whenever the doors are open. It may be related to PowerUp 1.7.1
