Did you call Ford directly for that or was it through your dealer?

I called directly and asked! I call every Thursday and today was first time I was told I got my VIN and ETA OCT 1! Last week I didn’t have a VIN so there seem to be some movement in last few days. I texted my dealer for my VIN he is a slow at replying so I’m patiently trying to wait lol.

Unfortunately for me no new yet. Inquired my dealer and there are other 14 orders awaiting to be scheduled along with mine.

I contacted Ford about my order and they confirmed that I now have a VIN and an ETA of OCT 9. They did say to take the ETA with a grain of salt as a build date has not been assigned yet. Progress!

I ordered roughly a month before @Kks17, still not VIN or build date.
For what o saw, it depends on the combination of Dealer + Trim with a bit of lucky of the other orders and the priority.

So, it’s a lot of variables to take into consideration.

The only thing left is to have patience 🥲

Oh yeah for sure. I’m just hoping to get mine somewhere around October. I’ll wait though. Patience is a virtue or something.

And can save a lot of money too.

I found a car that a dealer in Nanaimo just got scheduled to be built. But they are charging 5k of markup plus a 5k of deposit.

This for a car that only got a vin, they don’t even have a window sticker.

To avoid markup, I would need to place an new order.

Not the best of time to be on the market for a new car…

I’m debating now with all these premium models out there for sale if I should spend the extra 20k and get the bigger battery instead

Gotta love capitalism, eh? I’m just getting MSRP and waiting for the car to come. I’ve got just over a year left on my Audi lease so I’ve got time.

I ordered mine March 2, got VIN in mid May for May 30 build week. Got build confirmation week of June 6, shipment confirmation June 10. It’s now in Missouri as of June 30. Website says ETA to arrive in St Marys Ontario is 08/21-08/27. I would hope it won’t be another 7 weeks considering it’s already in Missouri. My order was ordered from an allotment that my dealer already had, but I got to custom choose the model I wanted. Premium SR AWD.

I ordered on May 25, from the same place as you @Kks17. Though my order was a Select AWD with the comfort and tech package. Still not VIN for me, when I ordered though they said it would take 9-12 months though. =/ I hope it comes sooner rather than later
