Cant input password for wifi

When I try to go on home wifi and enter password no keyboard pops up. I select my wifi network and then password entry screen pops up with no keyboard. It looks grayed out. Have tapped everywhere on screen. I need to do a software update.

Do you by chance have WPA3 security level set on that SSID?

I'm not saying that's the issue, but it's worth a try. Process of elimination?

And will it provide the keyboard for joining a different SSID? For testing purposes, setting your phone up as a Hotspot?

Not sure if this problem still exists but back when I got my '21 the problem was the "_" in the wifi network name. I know a weird connection but did fix it back then. Had assumed that quirk was fixed long ago. Set a guest system without it and problem went away. Was an issue other people had. Would suggest giving that a try (maybe from a phone hotspot rather than having to reset all your home appliances connected to it).

I noticed my update wasn't happening so I checked out my wifi settings. It's not connected. I don't get the virtual keyboard in the password screen. Any suggestions?

I got StarLink recently, but used the same wifi name and password. Most of my devices just connected, and some didn't. But this is the only device that won't let me enter the password. The wifi name is all lower case, and not special characters.

Vol down + seek right on the steering wheel controls to reboot the infotainment.
