I can’t set it correctly in my car under the “Charging” location (drawer). It will not let me add the correct Home address listing it as a Shorewood address and not my address. It has not corrected things yet on Ford’s end I assume with addresses like people are telling me to wait 24 hours. Also when I plug the car back in I am not allowed to add the correct Home address. I did set up a “Garage” location that is at least on my block though not my exact address.
Is there a location that the car thinks it’s charging at? Is that the Shorewood address? If spo just label that one home or some such name and use it. Mine did they after a dealer update a month or so ago. It’s still thinking it’s at an address that does not exist. That works fine though. It’s not like you’re claiming the address as yours and preventing anyone else from using that address.

Btw Mike the comments about using the preferred charge settings were directed at the op who had a very different issue.

When I used the "Home" address (Shorewood) it let me charge but only at 100% I could not set the preference to a lower percentage. All this must have happened on Ford's end becasue I honestly don't remember the car having updated itself OTA with the Powerup software that is causing everybody to lose their charging locations. However, it is strange that mine did this too so maybe somehow there is a software glitch. In any regard, I cannot use the home address but did mange to add a Garage1 address which is close to my home address and it is letting me set my preferred charge level again. It's just the OCD in me that I want things to work correctly the way it was working and I am going to keep at it until either I remove it or @Ford Motor Company / dealer helps me with it. Thank you for your "work around" though; I appreciate it and right now that is what I am doing.

Thank you for that but honestly I thought my issue was somewhat related. This is obviously confusing to me but I really appreciate all the help I am getting trying to resolve my issue and return the car to the correct settings. I know somehow the issue will be resolved but it might take some time. At least now I can set the charge levels back to what I want (either 80% most of the time or 100% when I need it) and that's what is important.

Ok I get it. My advice is to set up a charging schedule in the car using the lication the car thinks it’s at. The, and this is critical, stop looking at tte settings once it’s working. Leave those alone until, and unless, they don’t work any longer. Avoid the ICD. ;)

After the recall update I had to set up my Home charging again. This time I decided to let it charge anytime when plugged in but only to 90%. On the first charge I manually stopped it at 80%. Will have to wait until next charge to make sure it stops at 90%.

I can't explain this but when I got home today it listed my "Home" setting with the correct address and let me slide my preferred charge to 80%. This is a little over 24 hours from when it went crazy and everyone who was telling me to wait 24 hours was correct. I hope it doesn't happen again but for right now I am a happy camper. ?
