Same issue. Happened two times since the last week.

Yes. All that sounds familiar. If you set your Guest Profile to resemble your actual profile then it becomes less of an issue. The only thing I haven't figured out yet is how to work around the loss of saved or recent locations in the navigation menu.Initially I thought it had fixed itself, but it's still flakey. The first time it happened I couldn't even manually switch back to my profile, either from the door buttons or from the touchscreen. That seemed to resolve itself the next day. But unfortunately I still get Guest profile at some frequency (maybe every couple of days), though the behavior is a little different. It often seems to recognize PAAK and even adjusts the seat to my settings when I open the door, but then touchscreen will be on Guest profile. Often I don't even notice it until I start driving and realize one-pedal mode is off. Thankfully, with the exception of that first time I can at least manually switch it back to my profile. FWIW, prior to the recent updates I had never observed this problem even once.
I would change the guest profile to match mine, but my wife likes different settings (like one-pedal off) so I don't want to risk making her life harder! She has even less patience than I do for these software bugs.Yes. All that sounds familiar. If you set your Guest Profile to resemble your actual profile then it becomes less of an issue. I am lucky in that regard that we both prefer Engage 2PD but of course her seat position, mirrors and radio stations are different. She just had knee surgery a couple of weeks ago so she won't be driving for a while.I would change the guest profile to match mine, but my wife likes different settings (like one-pedal off) so I don't want to risk making her life harder! I haven't had this issue all week so I was thinking it may have corrected itself but then I realized that I also have been rebooting Sync each morning. I have to do that to get my phone to connect now. Maybe the Sync reboot is also helping with the Profile issue?I was hoping that adding a 3rd profile would keep this issue away, but it happened again today. It’s aggravating when it happens. It sure would be nice to have Ford acknowledge that they know about the issue and are planning to fix it in a future update. I won’t tag them here though because they’ll just ask for my VIN and dealer info, which won’t fix the problem.
The Sync reboot is likely helping. That’s what I’ve had to do to be able select my profile again after it gets stuck on Guest.I haven't had this issue all week so I was thinking it may have corrected itself but then I realized that I also have been rebooting Sync each morning. I would say it is more than perception....the software team clearly bit off more than they can chew and they have choked on it. Sad but true. I am sure there isn't anyone at Ford that is proud of how the software development has played out so far.creating a second named profile (I named it "Bug") has done the trick of the system switching to guest randomly. when my car did this (before I created Bug) it also became unresponsive in allowing me to switch back to my preferred profile.
I won't get into how Ford seems to release software with obvious experience issues like this. While minor in the scheme of things, they serve to create a perception of lack of attention to detail and quality.
