Not sure what's happening here, but I have my charge limit set to 90% both in the car and in the app (both at my home location and without a location specified) but yet the car charges to 100%. Any advice on how to make sure it doesn't exceed the limit I've set?

Make sure you have the app set to "Use preferred charge settings" and not "Charge when plugged in"

Yes, that's how its set at Home. I do have it the opposite for a public charger at a local supermarket since whenever I plug in there, I want it to charge. But the 100% charge override happened at home.

You can try removing your home location and plugging in again so that you can re-add it. I've never had to do that, but others have reported having that issue.

I had this same issue a few days ago. First time since late October delivery that it has happened. Set to use preferred settings as mentioned above from day 1. Car and app both set to 80% at "home" location and pin on map shows vehicle is right on top of the pin for the address. Reckon I'll have to try what @generaltso said and delete/re-add. Not sure what caused it, no OTA updates since 12/19 or changes to anything.

That’s what I have to do after pretty much every OTA update. It works.

You might also want to enter a schedule rather than "Charge Anytime". There were reports a while back indicating that the car didn't like having so much freedom. ? Seriously though, only allowing charging 23 or 23.5 hours per day seemed to work for some users.

This happened to me once. I switched my home setting to "charge when plugged in" did a charge. Then switched it back to "use preferred charge settings" and it worked like normal.

Are you checking the charge status and hitting “charge to 100%” thinking you are closing the window?

When I had a 3rd party app controlling FordPass they kept on overriding my settings to 100%. Just a thought.

When I go inside the settings, it clearly shows 90% on the progress bar. See photo. That said, I have downloaded Optiwatt, which can integrate and control charging, but I have it set to "off" "do not control" so as not to interfere.

If Optiwat is connected through FordPass that is your problem. You want Optiwatt connected through the EVSE and de-linked from the MME.

Pretty sure when I set it up I linked it to my EVSE, never used or linked FordPass I don't believe. But it does seem to show all my trips and charging sessions. It also has my utility rates loaded in and calculates my kw cost. So it's linked somewhere...

Optiwatt is also known to lock your Ford account, because it violates Ford's user terms and conditions. When your account gets locked, FordPass may continue to work as long as you stay logged in. But you won't be able to log into your account on-line. It is somewhat of a PIA to get it unlocked.

You may want to contact Optiwatt and make sure they delete your Ford account information before your account gets locked.
