CarPlay Change

Just recently, texting with CarPlay had changed. It no longer asks "Send it? or change it?" It now just delays about 5 seconds prior to sending it. If you want to change or cancel it, you are required to physically tap that selection on the screen. Is that a setting? I like the verbal question better.

On your phone, go to Settings > Siri & Search > Automatically Send Messages > Turn off.
