Carseat Accessory

What would y'all recommend to protect a backseat that will have a permanent rear facing carseat? I'd like something that lives on that one seat and protects the "leather" from the carseat and the chair from a kicking toddler. Thanks.

I used to use a seat cover thing from Amazon in my car under the car seat but a police officer told me those things are not crash tested and allows the car seat to slip more than they like. I don’t use it anymore.

For the back of the front seats I use this and have been happy:

I had one from amazon in my previous car but, the protective cover itself left permanent marks in the leather.

Now I use the one from tesmanian and it's pretty decent, but you'll still see marks from the seat through it. I try to take the seat out for weekends and massage the marks out. Usually they're mostly gone by Monday morning. I'm afraid that it's still going to warp the leather and seat over time, so I'll definitely be watching this thread for better options.

I’ve been very happy with the rear seat protector covers from Ford. By the time I priced out getting different odd pieces for the back seat, under the car seat, and eventual kid #2, it ended up being almost the same price as the Ford covers. Now the whole back seat is covered from whatever happens back there. It’s already saved me a few times.

We have these in the back of both of our Mach-Es for our daughter and they work really well. When we switched her to a booster where she could buckle herself we had to trim the cutout for the seat belt.

I read somewhere that you can use a bath towel and it works well, I used it before in a cloth car and it was fine not sure on a synthetic leather though.
