Caught my car flat hoofed

Opened Ford Pass and was notified of low tire pressure while she was stabled quietly in the garage. Thought we’d be getting out the soap. No need. She was screwed. Literally. Fortunately @Carsinmyblood bought an extra wheel w/mounted tire. About 15 minutes later, all is well. Hopefully she’ll recognize the new hoof. Will call service department re tire tomorrow. Thanks so much @Carsinmyblood !

There was an offer of premium wheels/tires on FB about 3 weeks ago, I bought one. Nothing beats having a proper spare tire. The premium wheel is a bonus. Now, there's no rush getting it fixed.

probably have to re-initialize the TPS in that wheel so your car can talk to it... ask the tire store to do it when you get your flat repaired.

My MME picked up a screw in its hoof and America's Tire fixed it for free. Stock tire... screw was in the tread so it was repairable.

Sadly that screw is too close to the sidewall. No reputable tire shop will repair that. Time to order a new tire.

Yes, except they ordered the wrong tire, maybe tomorrow or Friday. Really, really glad that @Carsinmyblood bought a spare!

Pony’s got a new shoe! Drove back, they had already mounted and balanced the tire on the original rim. Took about 10 minutes to swap the spare. They did have to retrain the system, but that was only another couple of minutes. Happy Days! In case anyone was wondering, the wheel w/tire fits in the back w/o putting the back seats down. Thanks all for your feedback.
