So, my 2021 FE got wrecked yesterday, and I’m fairly certain it’s going to be a total loss (obviously waiting for insurance appraisals and such). Since I’m probably in the market for a new car, and I liked my 2021, I’m trying to figure out what all has changed in the ensuing model years. I will consider some other EVs, too, but this is a good place to start.

I recall Ford getting rid of the foot sensor tailgate open in the 22s, and I know that the 25s changed the shifter, and there’s a light up pony now. I had BC 1.3, but I don’t know if I would have continued paying after my 3 yr/$600 rate was up.

So, what else has changed since the first run?

‘25 MME GT
Heat pump (and resulting smaller frunk)
Ventilated seats (premium only)
Column electronic shifter
BC 1.5
Software changes (new IPC design, new charge settings)
Slightly smaller ext battery (88 kWh vs 91 kWh, except GT)
Key fob has frunk button
Suspension comfort improvements on non-GT (supposedly)

STD battery is LFP (since late 2023)
More powerful rear motor (since 2024)
Light up pony is only on GT (has been on previous years too)
GT standard magneride and performance seats (since 2024)
Glass roof now optional (since 2024)
Cargo cover only comes with interior protection package (since 2024)

I listed about 25 minor changes I noticed from my '21 to my '24 in the first post of this thread: https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...inor-changes-ive-noticed-from-my-21-gt.40562/

2025 also gets the Ford Connectivity Package like the 2025 Expedition for 1 year, $150 a year after. Combines wifi Hotspot, navigation, Google services into one package.

Also, NACS adapter and tire sealant and inflator kit are stand alone options starting with July production. Adapter included in the mobile power cord, tire sealant and inflator kit standard in Job 1.
