You also have a code to get in and a password to drive away. Stop blaming the spouse!
Not when you uninstall PAAK because it is such a battery drain.. Backup password is removed.

Not when you uninstall PAAK because it is such a battery drain.. Backup password is removed.
I don't think the back-up code is removed if you just delete the FordPass App. If you have an iPad or even an old phone or something, I would just set up PAAK with that device, set up the back-up code, and then just uninstall the FordPass App on that device.

I don't think the back-up code is removed if you just delete the FordPass App. If you have an iPad or even an old phone or something, I would just set up PAAK with that device, set up the back-up code, and then just uninstall the FordPass App on that device.
I don't want to delete the app. Battery drain is PAAK. Delete it, code goes away.

Agreed, but you get around it by using an old device, basically a device that you do not want to have the FordPass App on. Use that device to set up PAAK and set the back-up code, then just delete the FordPass App off that old device (not the phone you use every day).

That way, by deleting the FordPass App on the old device but NOT deleting PAAK through the app, you are still able to keep the back-up code in place without having the battery drain problem (because your main phone doesn't have PAAK set up on it, and never does in order to create a back-up code in this way).
