I recently picked up my Mach E from the dealership, we have had it about 2 weeks now, and last night plugged in like normal. The charger is now stuck in the charge port. I have watched Bens video: to manually disengage the lock and did that and it's still stuck. We have a Grizzl-E charger which we have used for 10 months now for our PHEV, so I don't believe the charger is the issue.

Outside of calling Ford, anyone have any ideas of what we need to do to get it undone? Luckily, we have another car so my wife took that, and I work from home so not a huge issue, but can't unplug, so can't even drive it to a dealership if we wanted.

Just to be clear, I have pulled with quite a bit of force, but the whole area starts to move, and since it's plastic, the last thing I want to do is break the charger as then the car is useless until it's fixed.
Correct me if I'm wrong here, but I don't believe the locking mechanism on the car actually engages on a Level 2 AC charger. If that is the case, is it possible that one of the pins fused to the charger receptacle, or more likely the locking mechanism lever on the charger handle is stuck or broken?

I could be completely talking out of my ass here because I don't charge via AC often, but I seem to recall on the few occasions when charger via AC that the charger release button on the vehicle charge port does absolutely nothing when charging via AC, and all I had to do was press the lever on the actual charger handle to disengage the charger and that was all that locked it in place for AC.

I am struggling with exactly same problem but on at fast charger, 30 km away from my home. CCS Charging cable has been stuck in MME since 31/10/2022. Ford assistance tried everything to get it released without any luck, the emergency release cable also came out itself( broke off). Ford or Ford assistance could not help so far to release.
MME stayed at the same charger for three and half weeks, with the cable still in stuck in MME.
Yesterday 25/11/2022, after almost four weeks of trying to get the cable released , the charging station company removed their charging cable from the charger itself.
The car has now been towed with the CCS cable in the charge port to ford dealer. So far I understand from ford Netherlands that my car was the first one where they have seen such an problem and as such they have no solution to this problem from their technical department.
I am yet to hear from the dealer about the solution and time line.

I have this MME since June 2021, driven 40000
km with it without any issue but now struggling to get this pony untied.

Anyone from Ford here to comment on this issue?

It seems like the same exact thing happened to an owner in the US:
