Earlier this week (after the recent Ford Pass update that broke Apple watch support), my car wasn't preconditioning, I noticed all the departure and comfort settings had been wiped out. So I reset those.

Noticed this morning that my car didn't charge or precondition. Looked at my charger logs and it was flat 0 all night long meaning it never even triggered the start of charging even though the ford pass app yesterday said waiting to charge. Whats odd is that my car was freezing inside this morning and my Ford Pass app still said the cabin temp was ready, well it most certainly was not.

The other night I took a peak at my charger app since I hadn't gotten a notification saying charging had started. Turns out it wasn't charging then either. It only started when I opened the Ford Pass app, I didn't even have to manually hit start charging, it just started charging shortly after launching Ford Pass.

I'm curious if anyone has ran into this, and what can be done to resolve it. I've already started the process of remapping my home just in case (I doubt it since whenever it's in my garage the address matches my home).

Did you set these charge settings through the app or the car itself? I would check the car reflects your charging wishes and adjust them there. I wouldn't depend on the app. The app must communicate to the car and something can go wonky there if the server is having issues.

It's broken on the app since the last update for me. It's currently having a lot of server issues. I disconnected charger and 7-10 mins later the app still thought it was charging.

I just got done setting everything on the car again, rebooted sync as well. I guess I'll find out tomorrow if it worked.

Just a thought. I doubt that individual user settings are saved dynamically on a Ford server somewhere. More likely settings are propagated from the Ford Pass app to the MME, which should become the authoritative source.
I agree that the synchronizing is not as timely or robust as needed. I also agree with the ultimate solution to verify settings in the MME. When in doubt, in the MME I have changed settings, saved these, then reverted again to my preferred savings, saved these, just to verify that the authoritative source, i.e. the MME, is set correctly.
