Take your car to a public L2 charger. Plug it in and see if it chargers or not. If not, it’s almost certainly the car. If it does charge, it’s the charger you’re using or the wall outlet. Try using the mobile charger and see if that works off the same outlet your evse uses.they did not even attempt to give me any suggestions to try to determine if it is the car or the charger.
Supplied charger can't be used in the summer since its faults when garage temp hits 80. I talked with dealer and wanted next leave car there in a a.c. garage for a day to see if it defaults. He has no testing that can determine its the charger is defected. Real help. Maybe Ford can develop one or just replace my one yr old charger.Hi Ed. Can you send us a DM with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into this for you.
Yeah I'd need to know about when the error occurred, otherwise bump it up to 48A so it happens again, drive the car around for 5+ minutes, and send me your VIN. Port overheating would be my guess but we can see.
Mind sending me your VIN so I can see what's being reported?@Mach-Lee I've experienced a similar issue, though with the Ford Charge Station Pro. Any thoughts? I am starting to have suspicion there may be a glitch with the preferred charging times, as when I removed them it started to charge again, but when plugging in during off-hours with preferred charge times set, the issue persists.

I had the same issue after an ota update or a FordPass update — I no longer recall which exactly. In any event it went away in a subsequent update or after one of the many semi routine synch reboots I do when CarPlay flakes out on me.@Mach-Lee I've experienced a similar issue, though with the Ford Charge Station Pro.
