Charge Paused

This is exactly what my Ford Mustang Mach-GT has been doing for the past week on a Tesla charger I regularly used.

If I plug in my mobile charger, it charges for like 1hr and stop and I get this notification ‘Plug in Not Charging’.

I am at the point of returning this baby back to Ford like a ‘Bad Behavior’.

"Paused" is normal behavior when the car is set to charge all the time while using the EVSE to control the schedule. I can't decipher your OP well enough to tell if you are using the Ford mobile charger and the Telsa charger or if you're complaining about "paused" or "plugged in not charging" or if it's a combination of both??

I would check your schedules first and I wouldn't use the Ford mobile charger as a "reliable" alternative. Those things are buggy and broken 1/2 the time. Try a public L2 or another EVSE to see if you still get the same issues. Your EVSE choices aren't the greatest for process of elimination, a Tesla charger with adapter and a known problematic POC mobile charger.

I would still try to use another EVSE. You're using one with an adapter and another that's known to be problematic. If the problem still exists with a legit J1772 charger then it's likely the car. My guess is that it's your choice of chargers.

I am going to go somewhere to try another Tesla charge to see if I get the same response. Last week in the dealership, they said the ford charger works perfectly. But I really want to know if the problem is coming from the chargers in my complex. Thanks for the help.

I would suggest giving another non-Tesla L2 a try first to see if it works. You first want to verify your car charges with a “legit” EVSE as suggested. If that works then try another Tesla for testing.

Don't recommend that, TeslaTap adapter can cause things to act goofy. Some Tesla chargers also don't work on J1772 cars (locked down). Test with a known-good J1772 station.
