Charging 12v battery

Hi new just joined has anyone seen charging 12v battery when plugged charger.

Yep. I've typically seen it just before my set charging schedule is starting. I've gotten in the app to make sure it starts charging and have seen it with Charging 12V battery a few times.

Yeah. The 12v battery is what runs all the computers. If the 12v battery dies, the whole car is dead. So it is programmed to make sure it stays charged with power from the high voltage battery.

Some early cars had an issue where it wasn't keeping the 12v battery charged. There was an update your dealer could apply to fix it.
