Charging Door Malfunction

Yesterday I went to close the charging door on my MachE and it pushed out the piece that keeps the door from being 'ajar'. Has anyone encountered this? A quick assessment looks like you can likely access the charging port from inside the frunk after taking apart massive amounts of plastic to access it, but I'm wondering where I could get the part from? Or do I just suck it up and bring it to Ford (which in the 3 years I've owned it, I've only ever brought it to the dealer for recalls).

Yes, it has happened to others. I remember a thread last year (or further back) about it.

FYI you might want to peel the plastic off the DC pin cover. That's supposed to be removed before vehicle delivery FYI.

with all due respect, I avoid my dealership like the plague. They're absolutely horrible people to do business with.
