I haven't seen this reported before.
I've been charging with my Grizzl-e classic on 32A current setting w/ 30 amp breaker. No problems.
Today the Grizzl-e faulted with 9 red beeps = diode fault.
I started to fill out a support ticket with Grizzle-e and they have a section to specify breaker amps and Grizzl-e current setting.
To get back in compliance, I changed the output of the Grizzle-e to 24A.
Now the Grizzl-e status is green but when I plugged in the car, the car went to charging fault.
Now what?
Thanks for any advice, john

Wait....what, lol!? Am I reading this correctly? You set the charger to charge at 32amps, and you have it on (only) a 30 amp breaker??

That doesn't seem very smart......

"to get back in compliance..." It seems like it's a little bit late for that....
Please tell us you aren't going to blatantly lie and actually submit the form saying you had your charger set to 24A.........

The EVSE has failed. The failure had nothing to do with the setting/breaker combination. But they may use it as an excuse to deny warranty.

Yes, that's what I would be concerned with....Whatever the actual cause of the failure, I could see them trying the deny....

Good luck to the OP, hopefully they don't give you trouble....

How old is the unit? ?

I know you like a good mystery, so I'll continue on....
After exchanging information with Grizzl-e support, they concluded that the error was not in the EVSE, the error is with the car. Eager to prove them wrong, I headed to one of the local ChargePoint stations.
The car started charging. I sat down to read the news. And then the car stopped charging. No errors... just stopped.

The charging faults came back again after the software update.
I double checked my home wiring. I switched to a 50amp breaker and changed settings on the grizzl-e. Sometimes it would charge; other times it would fault.
Then one day it was charging ok and I walked away. Then when I came back near the car w/ my fob, the car lights came on and it got a charging fault.
I changed the 12v battery and no more charging faults.
Add that to the list of symptoms of a weak 12v battery....

Replace the 12v battery every 36 months, like clockwork.
