Taking a road trip tomorrow and due to cold ideally I should stop to charge in St. Joe. The PlugShare reviews for the Ford recommended DCFC Speedy station are abysmal. Any other recommendations for a quick top off in St. Joe?

No such thing, as PlugShare told you.

Plan on setting a departure time to precondition the battery and warm the cabin. Use heated seats and steering wheel. If you must run the heat, set it on as low a temp as you can, and low fan speed. If you have to, drive slower.

Worse case there is an abundance of level 2 charging available.

Yep. Plan on all those. Thinking I might stop at the nearby Sams Club for some L2 charging while browsing the store to give me more than the 13 miles of buffer to the next DCFC on my route that I want to use.

Question: There is a 50kWh charger I could use when I’ll be at about 80% charge. Would this be faster than using L2 charging?

Most definitely. You can't charge faster than about 10.5kW on L2 in the MME, and the 50kW DCFC will charge at around 35ish kW at that SoC.
