@Travlcub said nothing about reading the manual.I own the print version manual in addition to keeping the digital copy on my phone for easy reference. I read it when I don't know something but ask here if I can't easily find it in the manual or a search of the forums first.
Not sure if my 23 manual has been revised since, but here's what I could find on charging.
The way I understand is is if we had full use of all the battery capacity, 80% would be the limit. With us not having full access, 90% is recommended for L2 and 80% for DCFC but of course this topic has been discussed a lot... So charge the way you want? ?‍![]()

You don’t get what I’m saying. To prolong the life of an NMC battery, the guidance is to charge to 80% capacity, because from 80% causes a ton of heat. That’s why iPhone now includes a charge limit on their phones.
For MME, like it was said above, it’s ok to charge to 90 since Ford included a buffer (unusable), which still equates to about 80%.
Not a lot of people read the manual, and assume the universally recommended 80%
