I own the print version manual in addition to keeping the digital copy on my phone for easy reference. I read it when I don't know something but ask here if I can't easily find it in the manual or a search of the forums first.

Not sure if my 23 manual has been revised since, but here's what I could find on charging.

The way I understand is is if we had full use of all the battery capacity, 80% would be the limit. With us not having full access, 90% is recommended for L2 and 80% for DCFC but of course this topic has been discussed a lot... So charge the way you want? ?‍♂

You don’t get what I’m saying. To prolong the life of an NMC battery, the guidance is to charge to 80% capacity, because from 80% causes a ton of heat. That’s why iPhone now includes a charge limit on their phones.

For MME, like it was said above, it’s ok to charge to 90 since Ford included a buffer (unusable), which still equates to about 80%.

Not a lot of people read the manual, and assume the universally recommended 80%

I’ve seen all sorts of recommendations out there. I tried only charging to 80%, and charging every day recommendation on one the hundreds of threads on this topic. I checked the battery health in Dec after owning my 23 GTPE for 2 years and it was down to 88%. I used my Emporia charger at 48A when charging. I have only DCFC a handful of times since I use the Mach E for commuting back and forth to work (45 mile round trip).

I saw another thread that said you can get your battery heath up by limiting charging amperage, cycling the battery down to a lower percentage before charging. Also, every once in a while charge to 100% to do the ”cell leveling.” I have backed the My Emporia EVSE to 28A. I now charge only once or twice per week. My battery SoH is now over 92%. So my answer to you is you do you. Find something that works, and go with it. Don’t sweat it.

I’m sure I break the rules on charging. I plug in my 2021 and go to bed. I hit 100% every 3rd or 4th time and my battery health is still excellent. I’m also not going to be keeping car much longer as I have 63k miles and extended warranty goes to 75k

Simple: up to 80% (don’t stress)

Nerd: It all gepends on your driving. If you don’t drive much or some days not at all (remote work) charge to 60-70%. I’ve heard professors and battery engineers say that too much time spent at a high state of charge can cause some degradation.
Yes LFP chemistry (Std Range) you can charge a little higher without worry.
If you have a roadtrip the next day, charge it to 100% (YOLO).
