Charging question

I have a 2023 Mach e California route 1 Just bought at crazy low price $42K new I have had other electric vehicles so am familiar with them my question is I set my charge limit to 80%, plug it in and it charges to 80% says it stops but when I look at the wall level 1 unit it still shows it drawing power, that happens on level one or two. When I asked the dealership, they said that is normal they say it trickle charging maintaining the main battery and the 12-volt battery. None of my other electric cars did this BMW IX, BMW x50 etc. So, is this normal a Ford thing or is there a problem?

Had to have this done to mine. Works normally now.

Before the TSB you'd also see the charging lights near the port on the car still blinking even though it had reached its target.
