Maine just issued a new plan for rural areas. I am sure it will not get enacted for years and due to inflation cost 50% more or we get 50% less. The Gov't had DCFC grants for 5 new stations (Every 50 miles) near me that would open up full EV travel, they awarded them last May. Not one has been installed yet. So no DCFC for 2 hours distance from me yet. Depressing!

I do wonder what's the holdup. I'm not 100% sure what the grant requirements are (e.g., does it have to be DCFC only), but I know DCFC station profitability can be thin. I wonder if that's part of the reason some states haven't spent the money yet.
