Charging System Longevity

This question came to me yesterday as I was using my wife's Level 1, 120v charger last night. Since some of you will probably ask... it was convenient to plug in at the time and I only needed a 15 mile top off for my next commute.

I was slightly surprised that the whole system engaged (pump, cooling shutters, etc.) immediately just for the puny Level 1.

Anyways, I wondering if anyone can speak to the longevity of these parts over the years. It seems with the daily charging, many of those parts will develop a substantial amount of ware-and-tear. I'm assuming Ford has considered this in the design of the vehicle?

My Fusion Energi is over 8 years old. No problems. Soon to be traded for a Mach-E.
My Tesla is over 5 years old. No problems.

I have 3 different EVSE's I aquired in 2013 (8 years ago).

I've used all of them to charge my Mach-E (and various other plug in cars starting with a 2013 Focus Electric).

They all work today the same as the day I got them and charge at the same rate as they always have.

(Yes I realize that your question was more directed at components within the car instead of the charging equipment at your house--which is much easier to replace. Its all electronics, however, and all should be just fine as they are designed to handle the exact things you're putting them through.)

Thanks! That puts my mind at ease. Looking at all those hoses under the hood and doing the math on how many hours that coolant pump must be operating at over the years kind of had me nervous.
