Charged up in San Clemente, Ca. on Sunday... had a great experience with Electrify America... It was 98% charged in 60 minutes... about 93% charged in 50 minutes... it was relatively fast... it was in the Walmart parking lot, had lunch Baja Fresh and shopped at Walmart for a few minutes... the best part is... about $ 30.00 dollars for 200 miles... I started in Pasadena, Ca... to San Clemente, Ca... ended up in Laguna Beach... The DC charger was 150kw unit... Thought I'd share my experience... and a couple photos... I drive the car hard... so, I've never seen the 260 but, I'm fine the the range... the car is super fast and comfortable...

Glad you had a good EA experience. I've not done a lot of charging away from home, but EA stations have been the most seamless. only 1 issue out of 10 different charging sessions. EvGO sucks hard. ChargePoint very hit & miss. Only comment on your experience-- isn't DCFast charging beyond 80% risky? I believe the Owners Manual says this. But maybe you've had an OTA update or other advice?

It dropped down to 35KW toward the end... I'm guessing that the car should know better... the 1st 80% of charge was complete within 30 minutes... the KW's continue to lower during the charging... the last 20% takes much longer... I'm new at this... really not sure... I charge it up at work... it takes about 4 hours... and it's free... we have tons of 220 in shop due to the welders and equipment we use. At home, still using 110 volts... it literally charges 3 miles per hour... it's hilarious

The car tapers the charge rate to help protect the battery. The last 5-10% of charge is essentially at the same rate as a 220V charger. DCFC generates a lot of heat in the battery and is not recommended for routine charging but is fine for occasional use. Ford recommends only charging to 100% when doing trips, which is exactly what you were doing. No problems.

It's a clear decal... entire hood, fenders, flares, headlights, front bumper, grille, spoiler, mirrors and rear flares... The guy even did the center pillar sash moldings where the door buttons are... and tinted the front windows at 20%... funny thing is... the glass is not tempered... it's laminated acoustic glass... crazy... I can always paint the car but, the headlights and front grille are super pricey... it's really a beautiful car... first glance... it looks like a Porsche... Thanks for the compliment...
