Climate Use is the largest non-Driving drain. Even in moderate or warm weather it can be 10-25%, often in the 12-17% range. How to reduce it? I’ve not seen a satisfactory explanation from Ford or ither EV expert.
“Climate Use – This includes energy used by your vehicle’s high voltage climate control components such as the electric A/C compressor and the electric heater.”

I found that if I turn off the climate fan by turning it all the way down, it will turn off the climate.

What annoys me is when it cools the car, then it says "oh its too cold" so it heats up, then its like "WAIT Its too hot in here!!" and it cools again...

Or, when I turn on the defog and it just goes full blast cold air through all the vents :-\ Had that happen the other night.

I stopped trying to understand the HVAC.

I'm confused, is it difficult to turn off? I don't have my MME yet. Turning HVAC off and using heated seats and steering wheel will generally be more energy efficient.

There are multiple ways. It's not 'difficult' per se, but requires multiple touches on the large screen and this is not trivial to do while in motion.

Would have been nice to have some physical controls for A/C, such as System Off, Auto, and Recirc On/Off.

It's a single tap for steering wheel heat on/off. That's pretty easy. It's a multi button press for heated seat adjustments... But that has an Auto option which adjusts itself and that's been fine for me so far.
