The way they should work IMO is an override of what the car chooses to do automatically. For example if it's cold out it turns on heated seats and steering wheel automatically. Those options should be preselected on app and you can turn them off on app if you don't want them on.

I don't understand what it is doing currently lol. Anyone else?

It seems like the settings in the app stay the same unless you change them in the app. My car is set to 68 degrees and steering wheel and driver seat heated. When I turn on climate from the app, it changes to 72 degrees and steering wheel and both seats heated (which is what I had the app set to last time I used it). Then, when I get in the car and press the start button, it immediately goes back to 68 degrees and only driver seat heated (but I can feel the passenger seat is warm so I know the heater was on).
