Color Conundrum!

I actually canceled my GT reservation because I didn't realize it didn't have the glass roof!!

My C-Max has a glass roof (smaller than MME). I hate it. I realize that others seem to be in love with the idea, but I hate it.

FWIW - Th think IB is a nice color. It may look muted or variations of grey in certain light but in person it looked good to my eyes. The CG may be too bright in certain light conditions as well. RR will look marroonish in shade. Every color has its nice and not so nice conditions.

I dont think you will go wrong with IB or RR or even CG.

I always liked having a sunroof, and this seems even better IMO and makes the car feel so much bigger and open on the inside.

It just feels distracting. After the first week of driving, I activated the shade, and never had it opened in 6.5 years. With MME, I'll learn to live with it, but if I had a choice, I wouldn't have it.

I do agree the glass roof is nice (especially for those in the back).

Also, The Mach e is located in the back of the building by service. Kyle also said he has one coming in. One note, they are trying to get 10K over sticker.

Yes, I saw it sitting in back yesterday along with a Rapid Red one. It's been there for two weeks. Canceled customer order. I wouldn't pay $10K ADM, though.

I've actually been emailing them about one that is still on its way. I haven't heard back about ADM on that one yet though. But I let them know I won't be paying any. So we'll see what happens.

I love the glass roof more than I thought I would. Even in bright sunlight it's not blinding in the cabin. That was one of my concerns not having a shade, but I'm good with it.

I do agree the glass roof is nice (especially for those in the back).

It likely will be an option but two things:
1) how much is unknown ATM, but GT is already starting at over $60k so this would just add extra
2) I believe it was a weight decision, so if you opt for glass roof how much will performance and 0-60 be impacted? (Might be immaterial, but if that's what you're paying for it seems counterproductive.)

I think the sunroof is my favorite feature of the interior of the Mach E, followed by the comfort of the seats. I sat in the car yesterday for an hour on a FaceTime call with my parents, showing them the car and talking about the features. I had all the doors closed and no A/C on in the car. The sun was almost directly above me and I never got too hot. It did get a little warm, but it was much cooler than any other vehicle’s greenhouse effects. I think Ford did a great job on reducing heat from sunlight, and the roof looks nice to me from the inside, so 10/10 in my opinion.

That seems like quite the markup. I would learn to like another color real quick or keep looking.

Best of luck! Their old ownership was much better to work with than the current one. They play a lot of games now, so I'm doubtful they'll care if you say you're not paying ADM. There are enough people in Naperville that have no issues paying more than MSRP for status. I hope I'm wrong in your case.

Unfortunately you are probably right about Naperville.

But, I'm hoping that having two Grabber Blue, plus others if customer cancelations keep occurring, plus pandemic and economy might make them think about selling at MSRP.

But that's probably all wishful thinking on my part.
